THE BIG SWING
The 2nd Independent Feature Film by Julian Morales and Electric Dreaming Productions. "The Big Swing" is a Feature Film Drama for audiences who like absorbing, sexy, emotional adult dramas, in the style of films released by A24 or Neon. The film is currently in Pre-Production, where my team and I are revising the script and raising funds as we prepare for Production and Post-Production in 2026.

"The Big Swing" follows Sandra and Ben, a couple trapped in a nineteen-year marriage that has lost its spark, as they encounter the open-minded couple Daniela and Juan during what was meant to be a simple anniversary dinner. This chance meeting leads to an evening that will test the boundaries of their relationship and force them to confront long-suppressed desires and fundamental incompatibilities. Meanwhile, their teenage daughter Alejandra seizes her parents' absence to invite her close friend Kayla over, where the two young women finally act on romantic feelings they've harbored but never explored. As both generations navigate intimate discoveries, the film explores how authentic self-expression can both liberate and destroy the relationships we thought we knew.
Following post-production, the film will have a private screening for Broward County audiences, allowing local community members to provide final input and feedback before the film's official festival circuit and public release. This community screening will serve as both a celebration of local filmmaking and an opportunity for meaningful dialogue about the film's themes of modern relationships, family dynamics, and personal authenticity.
